As a teacher, an opportunity like this is very rare, and I am super excited to have been chosen to lead the theater program at HML!! Though I am originally from upstate New York (on the Canadian border), I have taught in all types of schools from the most rural to the most urban. However, I consider HML my home, and I am grateful to be welcomed here.

Personally, I was born in Ogdensburg, New York on March 24, 1971. I graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy with an Advanced Regents Diploma in 1989. I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Secondary English Education (Writing and Literature) and my Master’s degrees in the same subjects from SUNY Potsdam. I later earned my CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) in Educational Leadership from SUNY Oswego.

This will be my 30th year in the classroom, and I have loved every single one. I can’t wait for us all to be on this journey together!! Let’s be amazing!
